410 means the computer is not seeing the 02 sensors go lean when the air injection pump is activated. The pump may not be coming on when commanded or the hoses or check valves in the system may be inoperative or not connected at all. Very common problems are after a heavy rain storm that gets into the air intake for the pump and shorts and blows a fuse for the system.

I am dealing with this problem on my truck right now, and am looking for a more permenant fix to this problem.I work at a dealership and I've been looking around for what I think would solve this problem and here is what I'm thinking. why couldnt a person use a tacky tar substance like the stuff that holds the dust sheild plastic on in the inside of the door panel? this would allow the sector shaft to move, would never deteriorate, doesnt harden and wouldnt seep back to the bottom after a few months... any opinions you have are welcome.

[...] GM-Trucks.com| RPO Code Lookup So I worked a little on the hyperlink above on a few of the codes in my glovebox sticker. For example, G80 (which is on my list in the glovebox) could be (copied verbatim from website): G80 Differential, heavy-duty locking rear G80 Differential, automatic locking rear G80 Differential, heavy-duty automatic locking rear G80 Differential, limited slip rear G80 Differential, limited slip G80 Differential, locking, heavy-duty, rear G80 Differential, Zexel-torsen, limited-slip, rear G80 Differential, automatic G80 Rear Axle: Positraction G80 Locking, Rear Axle G80 Axle Positraction Limited Slip G80 Differential, locking, rear G80 AXLE POSITRACTION LIMITED SLIP As I inferred before, I am a ******* newbie to RPO codes (but I am getting a lot smarter really fast with every post from this forum). The list above does not help much in the HD/non-HD differentiation. Unless, do all of the above descriptions mean the same hardware? Seems impossible - limited slip is in no way the same as locking, for example. Therefore, what information do the RPO codes really impart? Family? [...]

Marc, I think you are looking for 52I (eye), not 521. 521 is not on the master RPO list. 52i is either Light Neutral or Medium Neutral depending on your year/make/model. Bottom line is the color is called Neutral.

This is the perfect job description. Thank you!
My 2002 Yukon was years overdue, so after putting in new shocks I finally decided to tackle it. (10-06-2009)
At 120,000 miles I got stumped by not being able to pull the shaft through because it was rusted a bit under the hood. After disconecting both bolts and being able to slide the shaft a bit, I clamped vice grips to the frozen shaft under the hood and proceeded to tap the shaft upwards towards the fire wall and it came out. THEN pulling it out from under the dash was easy. Chevy makes a kit for cars, the kit above has been discountinued for quite some time. So now I know the process, I'll replace the piece when the vibration comes back. This site rocks!!!
