HELPFUL HINTS & SUGGESTIONS

TOPIC TITLES & DESCRIPTIONS

When creating a new thread be sure to pick word(s) that clearly describes the help you are looking for. Some helpful tips include putting in the engine size (if its an engine related issue)/Trans type/rear end, Year of Truck/SUV or Model Truck (GMT-900 for example). The title should convey what the specific problem is. This will help in 2 ways

1. People who can answer your question(s) tend to chime in more when the topic title is descriptive
2. This can help future members when using the search option.

An example of a good title:
Topic Title: GMT800 Transmission Failure
Topic Description: 2003 4 Speed

Here are some examples with vague titles:
Help!, Need Advice?, Looking for ideas, WTB, For Sale.

Please take the time to at least add a topic description, this will aid in getting the right people to click on your topic and answer any of your questions you may have. This will help getting the correct information in a timely manner.

NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTION SECTION
In the description it is suggested you put a location (at least state).  This is nice for everyone to see where people are joining us from.

Thanks!
