  2. Greetings New to the forums and im sorry that my first post is asking questions but it is what it is. Friday i was on my way to work and the engine just shut off. Lights were still working, radio (and ham radio) were both still working. Gauges and everything on the dash still working. Power steering and breaks were out and of course the gas was not working. Rolled to the side of the road and got to a safe spot off of the busy bridge i had just come off of. Noticed that after the truck shut off, that the voltage gauge was very low. Probably about 7 volts or so. Someone stopped to help and attempted to jump the truck but it would got take. so called a tow truck. Got a tow over to my garage and started looking into it. Truck wouldn't start again since it happened. Determined that is has no spark at the spark plug, and no spark at the distributor cap. Can someone point me in the direction of what to test next? Im not of a habbit of needlessly buying new parts until it works again. Id rather find the cause of the issue and fix it and then buy whatever components needed. She turns over fine, compression sounds like its there. Not sure on the fuel yet but i figured i would check that after the no spark issue. the truck is 1991 k1500 with the 5.7.
  3. I mean just thinking out loud why run the wire to the front kick panel when I have a sub connection right on the back wall. I have seen people hook up amps to this connector on the Bose. I assume it should work the same for the kicker setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No but nice truck! Here’s mine 285/55 ko2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That couldn't hurt anything, but are you sure it's not abnormal noise? I've never heard mine except the DI tick at idle.
  6. I’m gonna do the kicker sub I had one in my 15 I sold it and bought the sub only for the 18. Could I tap off the bose amp in the back sub output Instead of running the signal wire to the front kick plate left front speaker. Would it work that way? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Daryl Z71's 2006 Silverado Z71 Build

New cab corners, inner and outer rocker panels.
  8. Johnny01: I looked the part number up and it is 90mm Dia. Which is 3.54" standard. So I measured the engine cover where the emblem sets and it will fit.I purchased one for $16.99. It was for a chevy cruse diesel. Thanks for putting the information out there. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  9. Do you all have the M Series or A Series?
  10. What did you do to your "other" car (aka musclecar) today

So they didn't give you more than the 20 percent?
  11. 2014+ Exhaust Systems & Mufflers

Got my Borla S-Type installed finally. I love the way it sounds both on initial start-up, cruising on the highway, and when you get aggressive with the throttle. Can't wait to get my headers and Y-pipe installed now, though it will bw a few months until that happens...
  12. I love my RollNlock also. I didn't even use the drain tubes. What little water gets in there runs out the hole in the forward part of bed.
  13. Today
  14. 2019 Dimensions

    0.18 it says more dimensions
  15. Well just got the console in , Too easy ven with the 4x4 stick e
  16. Onto the truck package ordering issues

I think the 6.2L would be available in the RST model. It would be pretty stupid call a model RST (rally sport truck) and no have the big engine as a option
  17. I agree. There are so many overlaps int the various trim levels and special packages. When truck shopping, I double my chances by looking at Sierras and Silverados.
  18. I'm about to be in the exact same boat my friend. We are looking to relocate a little closer to her parents. (Key word being LITTLE closer) lol. But ya I'm the same way, I don't do change and wanna have everything planned out and go without a hitch but it's a sellers market right now. I know a few people that have put theirs up here in NC and have literally had a contract within 12 hrs. Good luck bro hope all goes in your favor on the new shack! I need one with that kinda garage!!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  19. 2019 Dimensions

3:20 it says the truck is 1.5" longer
  20. I took a look at your link and that's a first year gen 4 price. I bought my Tahoe in 2014 and the the final cost is just a couple of dollars difference and the truck in the link has a couple of more options than mine. So as for the deal, don't know if you can find that package lower. Packages were different when I bought mine because it was just LS, LT, and LTZ. I bought an LT and had it outfitted like the LTZ. The only things mine doesn't have is the Mag ride, power steps, and rear entertainment. The safety items you mentioned above are exceptional, lane assist alerts audible, visual, and physical. Forward collision comes up on the front windshield, I think it's called a heads-up display. The only braking I have is grade braking, in which the engine rpms elevate once you start downward on a grade. Similar to downshifting in a manual transmission vehicle.
  21. Got any from front that show aggressiveness of width? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. 'Burban Wins Award From Who?

Funny, and you made the point well. If this was an award for the amount of covered hauling, the Suburban would be a lock. Since this is a Good House Keeping award I'll give them a free pass. When I look at storage I look at trunk space. The Surburban has less storage space than a Yugo. You can store in a center divider in the front and another space in the back about double the front. You definitely don't get one of these trucks for storage, but knowing what my Tahoe can do a another manufacturer would be hard press to beat it with covered hauling.

  24. What tune are you running? Did you pull any tq management out? Any notice power difference?
  25. Thanks for the feedback! When I decided to begin offering a “product”, I wanted to ensure I only put out product that I would install on my own truck. If I didn’t feel good about putting it on my truck, I would feel comfortable selling to someone to put on theirs. I take great pride in what I do for everyone here and always willing to help anyone along the way... whether they buy something from me or not. Thanks again for your feedback! Certainly appreciate it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  26. Since the Cargo Lamp in almost all tow mirrors I’ve seen land on slot 2, none will be Plug and Play since your harness has that dimming circuit on slot 2. That’s why a harness swap/modification needed. GM shares slot locations within the 18-Pin connector based on the options. That’s why it has made this upgrade as difficult and confusing as it is.
