Thats a good one. I love my Harley though. I presently own and have owned other bikes and to my surprise, its quality.

QUOTE (sack1 @ Nov 7 2009, 03:26 PM) QUOTE (Hawghauler @ Jan 25 2009, 10:21 AM) QUOTE (alaskaLTZ @ Jan 25 2009, 02:18 AM) I do like a Limey bike, though Moto Guzzi makes a quality sled too. I've ridden bikes for about 45 years now. Still have my original '84 Interceptor in minto condition but this summer wanted something a little larger but unique. In other words, something I wouldn't see coming and going everywhere (sorry Harley) and bought a Moto Guzzi Norge. It's been wonderful! Full of soul but modern at the same time. Plenty of power but not class leading by any means. I couldn't be happier and I don't feel like a clone out there! I hope this fixed your picture, btw there is nothing wrong with wanting to be different. I still like my Harley though.

QUOTE (alaskaLTZ @ Dec 31 2008, 02:07 PM) So, I have only only owned large bore sport bikes up until now, my last one being a 1200cc Ninja I have gone back and forth, do I go I talian, British, another Jap bike? I was just never quite at the Harley stage in my life yet, even though I knew that day would arrive. Perhaps it has. I am looking at 2009 models of a Dyna Super Glide Custom with SEVERAL Screamin' Eagle/HD factory mods OR a similarly modded Dyna Fat Bob. I have always liked the Dyna line, and have ridden them all except the Fat Bob with it's smaller front wheel. Any input from you late model Harley owners on either of these, and on mods like the 103cc big bore kit? Your info is appreciated All of the Screamin' Eagle bikes are straight up bad ass. The ones that i have to most experience is the 2006 Fat Boy SE2. 103cu" motor, with a power commander, 200mm rear tire. the whole bike looks sick. I have heard that the newer CVO bikes with the 110" motor doesnt run any better than bikes with the 103" motor. If i had the money, i would by the screamin' eagle bikes over just about anything else. Although the harley night rod special and the V-rod muscle are both also badass. The night rod special and the v-rod muscle will keep up with 1000cc sport bikes all day long.

Yeah, I rode a new 110" and it didnt feel any better them my 96". They have them way under-tuned. That is for a couple reasons, heat and EPA. Now, my 96" was a bit of a dog, but I fixed that with a Thundermax Autotuner. Its probably the best money I have spent on a bike.

MY Z1000 isn't even 1000 cc's (953cc) and it will smoke that VROD Muscle.... I know I rode one at the "Demo Days" at the local HD Dealer. I left unimpressed by the "Muscle" or the "Night Rod" Harleys are meant for touring/cruising, and the only two performance bikes they have ever made that were worth anything aren't even street legal. (XR750, and the "Destroyer") I am not saying Harleys are bad bikes, I am saying that Vrod isn't gonna hang with a ZX6R, ZX10R, ZX12R, or a ZX14R....or any other 4 cylinder sport bike for that matter.
