So if my count is right we need one more and to pick a place. Any where works for me in the metro area.

Keep in mind that this is about 8 months away. Things will change...and try to update this thread if they do.

I'll try and figure out a place at which this can happen...and anyone else around the Twin Cities that has any ideas, please post them. I'll PM Jenna and find out what kind of facilities Justin will need.

We met at Cabela's in Owatonna last year. Isn't there a Cabela's north of the Metro too? That might be a good place. Justin likes large, open parking lots with close, quick access to the freeway and/or highways for WOT runs. No worries, he doesn't have you go all that fast, but you will need to put it to the floor a few times from a stop and a 25-30 MPH roll.

Matt, let's get our servo's in beforehand.

Another MN Tune? WooHoo!!!! Maybe I'll come & get some things tweaked on mine!

+1

I'll be there. Andy, if this happens, let's get that Vette Servo in beforehand and Justin can tweak my tune accordingly. I'll buy the beer. thumb.gif

I think that sounds like a plan, but I still owe ya for lunch (which I'm sure you still remember). biggrin.gif

Help me with the servo and drinking my beer and we'll call it even. biggrin.gif

thumb.gif Definitely if this thing is next year

Of course, the test driving post-tune is a different story! biggrin.gif

Well we have 10!! So lets start setting this up. From the way it sounds a few people have things going on at the begining of the month. So I will see if we can get it on MAY 29 & 30 2010. If this doesn't work for people let me know and we can try for the weekend before. I know its aways down the road but its good to plan ahead. biggrin.gif
P71 CrownVic is looking for a location in the cities area, so I am in contact with him for that part. If anyone has any ideas let us know. I will e-mail Justin when I get back home on Oct. 2nd from work, and start talking to him to see what kinda things he needs to do this.

These are the 10...

I know already, the last two weekends in May will not work, due to prior engagements. But realistically, this is so far off that there is no need to lock in a date.

Wow, that was easy.

In the coming weeks, I will post a number of possible locations all over the area. Close ones to me I will try to get pictures of (whether it be Google Earth or me taking the shot.

Here are the first locations:

It is the Cottage Grove Park and Ride. Very large parking lot that is pretty empty on the weekends. The blue line shows the route we would have to take to get on the highway.

Here is the next location. It's another Park and Ride off of highway 61 in St Paul. This P&R is just south of highway 94...so access from a major interstate is fantastic.

Close up:

Wide shot:

Lemme know!

----------

Completely off topic, I just LOVE the snipping tool in Windows 7. That is how I got those shots above!
