Sales are up 4.7% for GM, 3% for Ford, less than 1% for Toyota shakehead.gif , and down 30% for Chrysler eek.gif . Here's the link:

It's because they have nothing new in the pipeline. Ford and GM had some nice new entrys to their lineup. Chrysler has nothing for the next 2 years. I think you'll see them go under.

Yeah GM has a few smart commercials out there, taking jabs at the other auto makers. My favorite is the GMC commercial where you see a bunch of pickups (Ram, Tundra, Titan, etc...) stuck in the mud, and a Sierra tows them all out with a big long chain. Tagline: "Never send a truck to do a Sierra's job". Laughed my ass off when I saw that one for the first time.
