Yes at one point we had a 5 post minimum. This caused more problems then it solved because it confused all the new members.

Post restrictions generally lead to useless posts being made.

That's different than now how?? tongue.gif

Instead of a post minumum, can we do a time minimum instead? Like is there any way a newbie who has been a member for less than 30 days cannot post a topic in the for sale threads? But he can reply to a topic, just not start a new topic until he's been a member for at least 30 days. Thats seems like the best solution, is there any way that can be done?? dunno.gif

On the FS section I like it but not on the rest of the forum. Guys come here to ask questions about problems and while a lot of those can be solved through searching, some can't and need to be asked in new threads.

That.

And maybe before starting a new thread on something, you have to search for the title? biggrinjester.gif

The thirty day minimum I asked about, I did only mean for the "for sale" forums. What I meant was: Newbies have to be a member for 30 days to post a topic in the for sale threads, but you can post a topic anywhere else, and you can post a reply anywhere, even in the for sale threads.
