Right now, Justin is booked through January, but if you get 10+ tunes together, Justin will definitely make the trip!
What type of dyno is it? Justin will not tune on a DynoJet, it would be a waste of your money.

I am from S.E. CT and would be VERY INTERESTED in a Black Bear Tune meet.
But need to order a set of chips because I want to keep my originals for my 2009 Siverado.
Where, and roughly when, in CT would this meet be?

Has anyone that's been tuned been "caught" by their CT dealership? I really want to get my ECM and TCM tuned, but I'd hate to loose the 100K powertrain on my brand new truck...

I would drive down from NH if I hadnt just ordered my tune from justin. Anyone know where he is located? I am wondering when I can expect it.

I might be up for it. Depends on when it is. I am currently home until January 2010, after that I go back to school in Michigan for 3 months. I would also like to know the location to get an idea on driving distance (I live in NH).

what are you guys tunning out or changing, the afm, a-f ratio, O2 sensors, timing, what is the deal with this. Besides, doesn't the pcm relearn every 500-1000 miles?
is this black bear tune have a chip with new maps on it? Just like to get more details on this.

Bump...
I've already been tuned, but could use a "tweak" of my tow/haul mode. I'm in Danbury, CT if Justin is going to be in town, i'll take advantage and get my towing shift points loosened...

Keep us posted!!!
Oh and BTW - Anybody thats "on the fence" about getting their truck tuned, go ahead and pull the trigger. You will not be dissappointed! Justin is the man! If you love your truck but wish it performed a little better when you put the hammer down, a Black Bear tune is for you! As far as getting caught by your dealership all you have to do is pony up the money for a new ECM. Tune that one and put your OEM one in the closet. Thats what I did!

Later!
