I would love to have some type of light in the footwell/kickpanel of my truck, along with some on the bottom of the doors so I can see where I am stepping down to at night. I have a '07 NBS Silverado. Anyone know where I can tap into the already installed dome lights, so the new lights only work when the interior lights are on and I don't have to install a separate switch?

Thanks in advance

Do your side mirrors have puddle lamps?

No they do not. I had already thought of that, but that would be too easy for me. It's the NBS '07 Reg cab, and it doesn't have the lights in the mirrors, power foldaway mirrors or anything like that. I was wondering if the wire for the mirror lights might still be there though, just not hooked up to anything on mine?

When I added signal mirrors to my 02 Tahoe I read a lot about this. The 03 models had the signal mirrors and if it did not come with the truck as an option the wiring was already there. Of course I had to run mine but the newer models were prewired.
