I'm looking to put (preferably) nerf bars on my truck. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions that they could upload? I'm having a difficult time envisioning them on my truck, and want to make sure I go with the right style and look.

Thanks!

Depending on the style you want. I truely like the N-fab steps, but the polished is out of my price range. So I stuck with the traditional style.

I just put these stainless nerf bars on my 2008 and found them the cheapest at Summit. They're NFAB, but marketed by Smittybuilt....

Can anyone offer any insight on the Westin E-series or Signature series?

Or even the Steelcraft stainless steel?

How did you get them to mount so close to the rocker panel of your truck? That's the look I'm going for, but every kit I look at, has then about an inch or two below the rocker panel (much like firemanSierra's look).

His are the N-fab that I was refering to. They mount to the body like rock sliders on a jeep but have built in steps.

I just put a set of Westin Platinum Oval steps on my truck and love them, I will have to get pictures when I get home, I was going to go with wheel to wheel ones but decided the cab length ones looked better.

Awesome. Would love to see the pics.

I'm finding some good prices at runningboardworld.com. Any thoughts?

I vote for the 6" gm bars. I had westins previously and I like the gm bars much better

Thanks.

I just can't justify spending the extra money on the "GM price inflated" cost though.

check out the rampage streamline 5" steps. i put them on my truck also because i couldnt justify the GM cost... and in another thread we found out that the rampages sit closer to the body too.

i ordered Raptor 4" oval stainless steel step bars last week. i really wanted the stainless nfabs, but they were just too much for me, since there are so many other things i wanna do to my truck.
