Leave your feedback (good & bad) about parts vendors you've used. Be aware that some use many names (for example truckperformance.com, performancecenter.com, etc.). Keep it factual!
Here's the recent experience I had with circus clowns at the above business(es):
I ordered a LUND Interceptor II online. TP's website did not have a place to advise if my Chevy Silverado had the NEW (& @ the time UNRELEASED) or CLASSIC body style. This part was drop shipped to me from LUND. It was for the NEW & unreleased body style. I am in meetings all day long & can not call TP on the phone.
However, I have sent 2 emails and have faxed them on 3/18, 3/19, 3/20, 3/21, 3/22 and 3/26/2007. I can not get anyone from TP to issue a UPS pick-up/call tag and an RMA for this worthless part. I did get a call from someone at their Ext.# 210 today, but when I called back I got an automated voicemail system & generic voicemail box.
This is like shopping at Home Depot... lost of stuff but no real people.
I am being forced to contest the charges on my AMEX bill, as the vendor is unresponsive. AMEX was very interested in the 2 emails & 6 faxes.
Next will be a complaint with the Orange County District Attorney, Consumer Protection Division, 401 Civic Center Drive, Santa Ana, CA 92701 Phone: (714) 834-3600.
By the way, I found the correct part for $10 less at Kragen's, had it in 3 days, & I didn't have to pay shipping either!
