lol.gif But still trapping 100 mph

In reality I was car #102, the time booth was jacked up. Traction is a no go, as you can see my 60's are in the 2.4's. The tires squeel from launch until half way thru 2nd gear, and get's slippery on the 1-2 shift. I guess my next mod is some Mickey Thompson drag radials. Traction isn't much better on motor either, I 60'd 2.5 at half throttle N/A. My tuner from the speed shop and a few of the guys were there, we logged a run with the HPT logger so I'm going there tommorrow to see how the log looks. IMO it needs more RPM, it shifts @ 5600~ on spray. But my main concern for now is getting some drag radials, which I'd like to wait until I get a new LSD differential so the G80 doesn't go boom.

What was your 1/4 on just engine?
Schmids5.3
The only N/A pass I tried was when I spun bad @ half throttle & 60'd 2.5x , I lolly gagged to the finish. The difference in not having torque management is unreal. I'm accidentally squealing the tires around town all the time when leaving stop signs or stop lights. I was messing around with horse power calculators and ET calculators, and a 4600 lb vehicle trapping 100 should hit 13.4's in the 1/4, and has around 360-370 rwhp. IMO it'll hit 13.3's with some Mickey's.

G80 go BOOM! You get some more traction and you'll need a broom and dustpan for the G80 bits.

You are getting that thing moving Sam! biggrin.gif

Don't trust those calculators, i ran a 12.40 and it said that for a 5200lb truck to do that i need 550+ RWHP or something stupid and i dyno'ed 384

Oh and congrats lol

Sounds like your truck is getting woke up pretty good, keep it going.

lol.gif About time you return. I haven't posted it up on PT yet, I'll do that now. I about freaked when I read 14.10 until I looked at the mph. I need radials badly, it was mildly scary.

I think your G80 could hold long enough with drags to tide you over. It's not like your putting down obscene power yet. You will be though lol if I know you right...

Man I think I'm going to get the radials & put the 150 pills in, make a balls out 12 second glory pass, and call it a season lol.gif Debating on whether or not to wait out on the Eaton LSD really. I agree the G80 would probably would be fine just for a few passes on M/T's.

...Eff it, the LSD can wait! I want to see what this thing will do! But I might wait until I have an extra $500 just in case it does explode.

Too bad you don't have 4wd. You could hold off the M/T radials then.
On a different topic...Have you noticed how effin hard it is to get the outlaw air intake tube off the intake? I have a clutch fan so I have zero room to work with.

LOLOLOL I feel your pain, trust me that thing's been taken off and put back on dozens of times, I absolutely hate messing with it. I'm getting Efans not only for the benefits & looks of having Efans, but because that damn intake tube/clutch fan shroud. Complete pain in the ass.
droopy
good job,I can't wait to see what it will do with some traction
