My parents had a mini blizzard come through Friday. 18+ inches scattered by 60 mph winds, 12ft + drifts...most places weren't accessible by pickups...they had to resort to tractors. Sounds like fun to me!

Texas is about 800 miles across and 800 miles top to bottom. You can experience just about any weather related phenomena here. Plus we have coast, desert, mountain, forest, and lake territories too. As with any state, some of it is not very exciting but there are a ton of great spots here. Northern Texas does get snow fairly often but this is unusual this late in the season. Thankfully here in Southern Texas the low last night was about 50. Still cool bot tolerable. It's about 65 and bright sun right now. NICE!

I'm still wondering if we are going to get snow on Easter here for the 3rd year in a row. Past 2 years have been weird like that...

Its a nice, warm 44 here in Nacogdoches. I'd rather have snow and 20 myself.

I'll jack with it next week... Getting further agitated about something that I KNEW probably wouldn't be fixed the first time.. Well, that serves no purpose, especially not on a weekend. Does it irritate me? Sure it does! Would I rather drive MY truck this weekend than that damn Frontier? Hell yeah! That's a no-brainer!

If I wanted to jack with another rental, I would've left my truck with them yesterday. I went over there and talked to the guy I had been dealing with, letting him know it still ain't right and that he'll be seeing the truck again, early next week. 'Til then, there's really not much more to say about it...

Yeah I hope they get it fixed before next weekend, I want to get a gander at that truck in person.

I totally understand as I have had issues from the day I picked mine up with the dealer I purchased it from and looking for a new one, no luck as of yet! There are others that have had issues with the dealer I purchased from as well not just me. I have several things under warranty as well that need to be done..

we are getting 5-8" tonight ... sucks since there is NO snow anymore on the ground and now we are getting more...

Here in wichita, it started yesterday around noon with sleet, rain, sleet, more sleet, snow for a little bit, SLEET, RAINY SLEET, THEN BAM ultimate blizzard, then it rained in the middle of the night and all day today it has been snowing like crazy. Just north of us has a little less than 2 feet of snow, yea i aint going anywhere today so far.

Maybe I should start more!??
