I just got an e-mail from a local dealership that is trying like hell to make some sales. I'm wondering if you all have dealerships doing this as well.

Up to 50% off MSRP on select used vehicles...

Considering most vehicles depreciate about 40% the minute you drive them off the lot, that doesn't sound like much of a sale, especially if you're talking about a 3-4 year old vehicle!

Now if it had said 50% off Kelly Blue Book Retail Price on select used vehicles, that might be a deal!

Yeah pretty much, but they also have great deals on trucks, actual new truck down a couple grand to 9k off sticker.

Currently we still have the following incentatives in Canada ongoing for GM Trucks

1. Discount (Canada Advantage Pricing) of $8000-$9000
2. GM Truck Bucks - $1000
3. Depending on some dealers they will give you another $1000 instead of the Goodwrench 3 yr maintenance pkg.

Thus you'll looking at $10000-$11000 off the sticker price of the truck before factoring GM Employee/GM Supplier discounts, GM Visa, etc.

It would be interesting to see what GM will offer after June 1.
