  3. Projects you have built

In no particular order here are some of our projects from the last couple of years : Adirondack chairs Landscaping entry way project: Re decked out back deck and we built some swings with the arbor tops: Roof over back patio to cover the egg station: Then we added a concrete fire pit area : Installed the barn style doors in the living / dinning area: And of course the "egg station" Ok that is all ... I Have enjoyed seeing everyone's projects keep em coming Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I'd agree with that statement ... I think I'd also opt for 4x4 even though 98% of the time I'd have to go looking for a place to use it I just like being prepared Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well I have an update on the ole' 4.3 I've had mine now for 8months and I have 8900 miles on her ... Currently avg. 19.6 MPG if you believe the computer ... I'm 70% around town stop & go style of driving so I'm quite pleased with that estimate ... I have been as high as 22.5 with 50/50 town & highway ... So I would guess if there are any highway commuters they could definitely hit they 25 MPG mark ... Still loving the power and am extremely happy with my choice [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. These are brand new (2weeks) so no I haven't .... But I have some on another vehicle and no fade to OEM fabric had them on over 8 years
  9. Pics of my camo seat covers from http://camotruckseats.com they are the Shadow grass color
  10. just notice on your picture you have the two long clamps on one side and the two short clamps on the other...I believe the short ones are for the rear of the bed and the long one's go up towards the cab...probably won't matter but check it out anyway
  11. I have the Retrax pro...no complaints...its the only roll and stow cover that I could find that will locking in any position along the truck bed rails...no leaks we've had a lot of rain lately and I have checked just to make sure...also this cover doesn't require any strap that you must pull to close the lid itself ...all you do is pull on the handle from the drivers side very easy and smooth...also the Retrax pro which I have an hold up to 500lbs on top of it if you so wish too of course I wont but those of you up north with snow may find this appealing? you can open and close the tailgate with this closed in case any are wondering ...mines not the electric version but if you got that it will lock with a fob and will still lock in any position that you stop it in there is also a light kit available but since we all have those fancy under rail lights its not needed...one last thing I ordered mine with the wide rails that sit on top of the bed rails they look better because they cover all the way to the outside of the bed...hope this help someone
  12. I'm definitely not sure how you guys are getting that mileage either ... I just broke the 1200 mile mark on my v6 reg. cab 2wheel dr. sierra and am sporting a 20.4 MPG (which I'm happy with coming from a V8 FX4 4 wheel drive that avg.d 11MPG around town) it is a mix of driving 33% each around town, 33% rural 45MPH stuff and the rest interstate...some is with A/C some is not...I use cruise control when ever possible and I'm definitely not a lead foot, being nice with the new baby...and this is only if the computer is calibrated correctly
  13. I cant promise how yours will hold up once you get them, but like I said I have had my original set for seven years and they have held up through two teen age boys and all of their baseball and football seasons during that span... no rips no tears no errors ... seriously the only thing that happened to mine was a little color fade near the end of the seven years ...Florida sun can be hateful ... these seat covers fit like a glove they really almost look factory...I have had people come up and ask me about them out of the blue ...lots of complements....and yes they are not cheap by any means, good luck with your new covers when you get them
  14. I have the Retrax pro... I would advise you to take a look at this cover as apposed to the roll n lock...the Retrax pro can be locked an any position allowing you to put something in the bed and then closing the top right up next to it and then locking it in...the roll n lock I believe only has 3 stops...plus the Retrax pro will hold up to 500lbs. on the top of it, not that I would do that but it shows you how strongly it is made the roll n lock is I believe rated for 200lbs??
  15. go to http://camotruckseats.com have a set on my FX4 7 years running...ordered some for my new Sierra as well highly recommend give them a call
