  7. That's the biggest stitch in my side, all our cops are great guys, I was a volunteer in at my local fire rescue until I started working around the US. I'm extremely confused as to why the FD wasn't called? I mean this is technically an entrapment of a human in a vehicle.   8. I appreciate that info but I honestly had tried other options before calling them, like I said my app doesn't work correctly and I'm not sure why yet. I will find out though! The first rep refused to do anything, told me to call 911 and they had tried already, second rep had no questions asked, and was unlocking as it was broke. I would have paid for subscription had they asked but I wasn't going to stop and give them my info. The dispatcher for 911 transferred my wife to the local PD and they said they did not unlock cars anymore, she told them there was a child in the car and she told her to call a local locksmith, by the way the only local locksmith is 45 minutes away. I called a good friend later who is a off duty officer in my town and he explained their insurance wouldn't allow them to unlock due to lawsuits over scratching tint.   12. Well this is a very sad world we live in and i appreciate the people who read the original post before posting, I have the 3 year basic plan on my truck.... I have it activated, actually called to make sure it was active about 2 weeks ago, same with my 13 Cruze. I had tried to use the Remote link app to no avail, said it was unsuccessful every time I tried it. I wasn't really interested in it because I could just call onstar and have them unlock it without any problem. To the blatant idiot who said my wife would be in trouble for child endangerment, you are a very ignorant person. This wasn't a who is at fault post I was actually just trying to get onstar to fix the employees understanding of unlocking a car for the fact that my child was in it.   13. I have purchased a window, what sucks though is as soon as I ordered it got pushed out another 4-5 days dues to stock or something. I am going to pursue the guy that would not unlock it getting a bit of a change of mind to help a future someone else out, I appreciate the kind words from everyone.   15. Just thought I would let everyone know that doesn't already. I knew but my wife didn't! I have a 14 CC, and my wife use the remote start to cool the truck off before going to church and loaded my son into the car seat, in doing so she sat the keys on the bag beside him and shut the door to move to the front seat and the door locked. Her house keys were locked inside attached to them . She called the sherries department not thinking about onstar in panic and they said they could not unlock the truck, even though there was a child in the truck. She called me, I immediately contacted onstar and the first representative I spoke to said he could not unlock it even though there was a child locked in the vehicle on a hot summer day, in this time the truck had finally shut off. I told her to break the window on the front passenger side, and she couldn't with a small 6lb hammer. I tried contacting onstar again and a lady was in the process of unlocking it when my neighbor came over and broke the glass . Glad my son is fine but I think I may need to pursue this and possibly make onstar pay for the glass. Or at least get this fixed where it doesn't happen to someone else. What are your opinions I will fill in more info as this happens, or give more info as I have the chance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
