  1. My 2016 1500 has a drain plug in the rear diff cover.. I didn't expect that Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. I solved this by cleaning my throttle body and valves. All smooth now Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. I'm wondering. Do you guys still under warranty change your own oil? If so does that void warranty? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. My 16 did the same. I boosted my park RPMs by 50 and drive RPMs by a 100. Been perfect ever since Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. It's definitely a media port. It also does not charge as fast as the other ports. I wonder why it's white and also why it's a slow charger Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. When you plug your phone in it should bring this screen up to either install or no thanks. To install android auto.... Also try this.. try plugging your phone in and pull down your drop down menu on phone check your MTP connection. If you select that it should give you options like charge this phone ECT ECT... select transfer media files or connect a midi device. Are you running a custom Rom? 7. Good idea! You have a link by chance ? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. I feel for you op. Incompetence or lack of caring idk. But at 1 month old I took my truck to the dealer to have new tires I bought installed. They scratched all 4 rims. Wow I was in shock. Yes they replaced them but still. Then I said ok I'll use mobile 1 to change my oil since the dealer in incapable. Mobile 1 over filled my oil... Wow. I do my own work now. All shops are incapable as far as my experience. I try to stay out of them Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks I'll try that. Have you successfully done this ? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. What a dick.. and you are wrong. Gm added a software update settings in my 16. Also they advertised more apps would be coming out soon. They never mention a engine update... so that does indicate that you will receive software updates for the infotainment center. So it's nowhere even close to the other hardware upgrades you mention. YOU remind me of a woman ragging in that special time of the month. God I'm going to say it again what a dick Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. On my 16 I have a setting that says software update. When I push it it tells me before I proceed to backup current software to usb. So I put my usb stick in and it says error ??? You guys try that option? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. Most likely the catch can kept yours pretty clean. We'll see... After cleaning mine I installed a catch can. And with the amount I'm catching it has to play a factor. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. I know this thread is old but I don't have anywhere else to turn. I have a 2016 Silverado. It does have a selection in settings that says software update. But it says before I proceed I need to make a backup of my software onto a USB stick. So I put in my 32 gig USB stick and it just comes up with an error... every time. Has anyone gotten this to work Also wondering if anyone with a 2016 has taken it to the dealer to get the new update that come out in the 17. I read they had quite a bit of features like managed WiFi blah blah blah Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. My truck rocks ! I haven't taken an long trips but I've put 40 thousand on it. I have had fun modding it and it has turned into a beast. After my tune at 1500 miles my tranny has been so sweet. I absolutely love this truck more everyday. Originally I was going to trade it at about 50,000 miles. By 30000 miles I had changed my mind. I'm going to keep it and drive the wheels off of it Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
