  1. I wouldn't worry about it in a truck or anything that regularly goes through a tank of gas. I wouldn't put it in a boa though and I try not to put it in any small engines if possible.
  2. I bet it was delivered on a semi that saw road salt somewhere along its trip.
  3. First home under contract

Yup, I'm between wright city and Foristell. Just down the road from Cedar Lakes Winery. If you've never been there I'd go, just make sure you have a DD lol
  4. I also have this sub and highly recommend it. fits perfect under the back seat. If you do go this route I would tie into the factory amp wiring not the rear speakers, I couldn't get mine to sound good until I did this.
  5. I added a JL Audio sub to my factory system (bose) and I was super impressed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B8PQ2UM/ref=sxbs_sxwds-stvp_2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3341940462&pd_rd_wg=WwSyz&pf_rd_r=TXKGCHKHTCX3WFZZP6YR&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-bottom-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B01B8PQ2UM&pd_rd_w=PxEpZ&pf_rd_i=jl+audio+subwoofer&pd_rd_r=6ddea773-91b3-40ce-8bbf-5c56b06f27be&ie=UTF8&qid=1516220860&sr=2 I would start with a Sub added to the stock stereo and if you still feel like you need more then do the receiver and speakers.
  6. First home under contract

Where in STL are you ? I'm about an hour west of downtown off hwy 70. Are you in a subdivision? Congrats on the house!
  7. Mine doesn't get driven if there's salt or salt residue on the roads. (hasn't left the shop in 6 weeks) Not a good option for most people lol but I'm a little OCD. On my 05 that did get driven year round I always sprayed the frame down with WD-40 after each time I washed it and it seemed to help quite a bit.
  8. it's barely noticeable over stock. I was considering airbags but glad I didn't spend the extra money.
  9. I lowered the rear of my truck 2in and they are about 1/4-1/2 in from the axle with nothing hooked up to the truck. I'm extremely impressed with them and truck doesn't sag at all no matter what I'm hauling.
  10. Gross, I'll be buying a new 2019 Duramax before they make these changes to the HD lineup in 2020.
  11. I just ordered this setup to put under the backseat of my 2016. I'll let everyone know how it sounds next week once I get it hooked up. https://www.amazon.com/JL-Audio-ACP110LG-TW1-Amplified-Ported-Enclosure/dp/B01B8PQ2UM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1508514908&sr=8-2&keywords=JL+audio+ACS110LG-TW1
  12. care to share the box, sub, and amp model numbers? I've been wanting to add a sub to mine and this setup looks about perfect.
  13. Sounds like it's probably cranked up as far as they could get it and the upper control arms have no downward travel before hitting the bumpstops. new upper control arms would probably make a huge difference IMO. I have the drop shackles on the rear of my truck and love them. I also installed sumosprings and with my gooseneck and skid loader behind it it rides level. I'm headed to the shootout next Tuesday staying across from PBC, flag me down if you see me!
  14. stuff
