    2009 GMC Sierra 1500
  1. I have the same but on my rear wheel wells. How do I stop them from growing/spreading? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I have a 2009 Sierra with Heavy-Duty Trailering package (or whatever it is called). Is there a fuse or something that needs to be done to charge my trailer battery when it is connected? I don’t think it is charging it and want to verify that everything is hooked up as it should be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The park assist on my truck doesn't work. I get a message to service it whenever I shift out of park which is annoying. Is there a way to disable it so I don't have to clear the message every time I drive the truck? It is a 2009 GMC Sierra. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks everyone. I'm bringing it to my mechanic on Thursday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm experiencing an issue that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. I think it is an alignment issue and I hope I will just need a front end alignment done. Anyhow, here is what I am experiencing. After I turn right, I have to hold my steering wheel to the left to go straight (normal 12 o'clock on the wheel is at the 10-11 o'clock position). If I turn left, it fixes itself. Does this sound like an alignment issue or something else?
  6. I thought I would update this thread. I have my spark plugs and wires changed. It help a lot. The truck still vibrates a little but no where near as bad a before.
  7. My truck currently has standard mirrors and I want to swap them to tow mirrors. The mirrors on the truck are power, heated, power folding, have the turn signal on the glass and are auto-dimming. Do I have to find tow mirrors that have all of these features? Can I get tow mirrors that are power, heated, have the turn signal on both the front and back of the mirror and have them work properly? I don't really care about the power folding or the auto-dimming features..
  8. I'm at work right now, would https://smile.amazon.com/Magnetic-70045-10-Inch-Extension-Confined/dp/B01BVSA3S8/ref=sr_1_6?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1493299938&sr=1-6&keywords=spark+plug+socket work or is it too long?
  9. How much should I expect to pay to have the spark plugs replaced? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Ok, stupid question but what do you mean by wires? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm not sure if the spark plugs were ever replaced. I'll try that and see if it helps any. I'll update this thread after.
  12. Just over 157,000. I just bought it used when it had 155,000 miles. I had the transmission fluid flushed, transmission filter changed, coolant flushed, power steering flush, brake fluid flush, front and rear differential flushed, the dealer also changed the oil before I purchased. I don't have any history on the truck. The u-joints and brakes were also check and are good. There is a K&N air filter too. I plan to clean that this week.
  13. I have a 2009 Sierra that will sometimes vibrate at idle (like the engine isn't getting gas) and the RPM's will fluctuate, not a lit though, maybe by 50-100 RPM. The RPM's don't seem to fluctuate during driving but I'm not positive. Any idea what to look at?
  14. I'm not sure when they were changed last. I just purchased the truck and it didn't come with any maintenance records. What exactly does the transfer case do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
