  4. I normally just use a 2x4 with a screw jack on the oil pan. I’ve had the exhaust touching the body before. It’s pretty high up, enough for the mounts to clear but it is still mighty tight. The mounts are shaped weird. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The consoles have really gotten out of control as far as pricing goes. They used to be had used on eBay easily around $350 shopped! I bought mine for $400 shipped.   6. Instant fix for all the trucks and SUV’s I’ve done. Smooth idle right away. By the way, any one planning to do these. I always do them from the bottom, GM suggest removing the exhaust manifolds.....no way! It’s tight coming out from the bottom but it can be done. The right side, remove the starter it clears up a bunch of space. You’ll want to jack the engine up as high as you can get it. Pretty much the catalytic converters will be touching the vehicle body.   8. The engine mounts. No doubt about it. I just did 2 sets today. They are liquid filled mounts. They are getting internally grounded inside the mount and causing too much vibration through the frame. Very easy to see on a picscope. E1 and E2 vibration frequencies all day long with these trucks.   9. Clunking noise when turning left

    Check the cross member underneath the truck, it’s got 4 bolts in it and it ties the left and right sides of the frame together to add some rigidity. They commonly loosen, especially on lifted trucks. They make that pop noise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. reduced engine power

    We’ll need the DTC number. Maybe a P1516. Also, make sure there isn’t any other codes set. A low voltage code will kill outputs from the ECM and disable the throttle control Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Fixing problem with filling up gas tank

  15. I got mine free, the customer stated there was a bump in the top of it. I searched all over and couldn’t find what he was talking about.   23. Looks like a mix of a Tahoe/suburban and a Ford in the front. It may be okay, but I’m tired of making payments, the 16 I have now will have to do for a long time.
