  1. What did you do with your truck/shop today

...so a buddy came and bailed me out. Five miles later I blew another one. Now he’s driving me 100 mile round trip to Walmart as every other tire shop in the state seems to be closed. All they have that will fit are passenger tires, and we had to beg for them to say they will mount them due to load ratings... What a damn day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

First ever blowout... Guess who hadn’t bothered to load a lug wrench to fit the trailer? [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. 18 SLT off the lot when I went in for a service... The 5.3 made me appreciate my 6.2 even more! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Chit chat

I’ve since had it removed, and there was PLENTY to wring out [emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  6. Saw this on a local windshield shop’s Facebook page and it looks like the fit is good... I tried to get in touch with them, but haven’t heard back... Would be great to know more details from the owner... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. I just got a Hypertech Max Energy 2 for my ‘17 6.2 8sp... All I was interested in really was having the speed limiter removed (it drove me nuts when it pulled like a train for 3 seconds into an overtake and then felt like hitting a brick wall), and maybe a basic performance bump. I have no plan to mess with rev limits or V4 mode etc, as I’ve generally been pretty happy with everything. I’ve put just over a hundred miles on it since, and holy crap it feels fantastic! It’s harvest season here in Kansas so our long straight roads are littered in semis and convoys, and the truck now leap frogs them like it’s nothing. I love love love the improvements and thoroughly recommend the system to anyone in the market... Next upgrade, a cat-back system and bigger wheels [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Hey guys. I'm considering getting my '17 6.2 8sp dyno tuned to give it a little more pep and have the governer removed... I do not want to remove the TCM and mail it to a tuner, so I guess dyno is best. Denver is my closest major city, so does anyone have any recommendations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. I've got 12,000 on my '17 6.2 8sp and it's starting to get irritating. The usual, clunk in reverse and hard downshifting at low speeds, it has "pushed" a couple of times coming to a stop too [emoji19] My wife's '16 Denali XL has the same setup, but even at 67,000 it hasn't missed a beat, so I just can't believe how it can be so different with the Sierra [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Doable... My wife's Denali XL has had over 40mpg over 25mi coming down out of the mountains into Denver [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Yup, it's total bullshit that my wife's '16 Yukon Denali has so many of these options, but I couldn't get them on my '17 1500 Denali... I don't care that it's a truck, I drive the shit out of it, and those would make me enjoy it even more! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. 66mph tailgating whilst screwing around on a forum on your cellphone like a BO$$! [emoji869] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. My actual economy is about 1.5 mpg shy of what the onboard computer tells me. '17 Denali ccsb, stock with a Peragon cover. 99% highway @70mph. Maybe 5% of that with a 8,000# trailer. I romp on it a little as I'm enjoying driving something with power for a change [emoji4] I live in the Midwest at 3,300' above sea level which makes a difference too I'm sure. 14. I'm still running my stock 20" Denali wheels on my stock '17, but am awful tempted to go with some factory 22"s. Looking at the same as my wife has on her Yukon , Or these new ones How big a tire would I be able to go without doing too much to the suspension? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. I have a '74 F100 called Buford (like blue-Ford) I used to have a red F150 called Harrison (Ford) and one called Robert (Red-Ford) My 1500 Denali is Ron Burgundy (from Anchorman) because it's Crimson Red. My wife's Yukon Denali XL is Beast because it's massive... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
