  1. license plates are 194's so far i only did the reverse lights, cargo lights and license plates. if you change the brake lights you'll have to put a resistor on them due to them also being the turn signals. The 3rd brake light shouldn't need a resistor due to it only being a brake light.
  2. i bought a 2 pack through ebay for $20 opposed to $32 for the same pack on amazon. Just as heads up!
  3. I took the whole thing off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It was not bad at all. The hardest part was getting the nut on the back side of the aluminum to get the bar on due to a bolt on the truck being sort of in the way. I just had to put the bolt to the aluminum and screw the bolt on rather than push the bolt through first which is seen below. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Lightbar was $25 from amazon. The wiring and switches and inline fuse, did not cost more than $40.
  6. Installed a 22" light bar from Amazon this weekend. Mounted on the two brackets that were from the lower valence that i removed. I had to add a 24" piece of aluminum behind so it was mounted to the holes since they were only about 15 inches from each other. It fits perfectly between the two tow hooks too.
  7. That was what i was going to check next, i think it is the right way just not touching one side. just wanted to see if there was another thing i missed. first time using a diode
  8. I had an issue with getting this to work. I bought the 1N4004 diodes (chinese got a 25 pack for like $1.25). I put them into the pins that people above mentioned but it did not do anything. i have them in as far down as possible on both sides. Is there something that i probably missed? Or maybe just one bad diode? i have not tried any others yet
  9. i ultimately would love to do this but don't have the money to foot the cost up front despite knowing the true difference after selling the old ones. Where did you find the deal? Just like ebay or somewhere similar?
  10. Has anyone tinted their front turn signals to get rid of the amber look? I'm between this and opening up the headlights to remove it completely but still nervous about putting the headlight into the oven and then sealing it back up properly. If you happen to have pictures please post!
  11. I mounted it on the top behind the X section and yeah if I do any shows I’ll have that on I actually drive with it on during the night too though. I did the same with my car but in red Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Installed grill lighting. And that is only one led strip about the width of grill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Exactly I was only going to tapped the reverse light again. I’m gonna get one of the curt t trailer connectors for behind the 4 and 7 pin plugs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I would run them to the reverse light. I have a 2016 and my color was the light green. It may be different for you. But it was fairly simple to figure out which wire it is. I used a t connector to connect to the reverse wire for my back up lights. i plan to do the same set up for when i buy my led tailight bar.
  15. So who is from Connecticut?
