  1. I bought a painted front bumper for $150 from a local guy. It's scratched up from being in the bed of his truck after he removed it. I'm going to buff it and try some touch up paint and see how it looks. I also have to drill holes for my front parking sensors. I took the front license plate bracket/cover off the painted bumper and put it on my chrome bumper until I swap them. So much cleaner looking now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It wasn't too bad on the tailgate. I used a heat gun and fishing line. Then I used a rubber eraser wheel on my drill. Then I used adhesive remover. Then I buffed it out with rubbing compound and my buffer. I didn't see any ghosting on the tailgate. The z71 emblems on the front quarter panel have some slight ghosting. They get a little more sun. 3. 1SLOW1500's Turbo truck build

We need some video of that sweet blow valve sound!
  4. Perfect stance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I bought a silicone cover on Amazon to cover my peeling chrome fob. It looked terrible after 50,000 miles of use. The cover is awesome and is holding up well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Your front end looks perfect. Did you paint the chrome grille surround and the bumper?
  7. SierraGuy's 2015 Sierra Double Cab Build

Your truck looks much better! Good work on the upgrades. The 2" level looks great.
  8. Thank you. I would like to get some black steps that hug the rockers a little closer like HDX or Magnum RT Steps.
  9. Got the new Z71 emblems on the doors. These are from the special edition Silverados. GM part number 23465290. I measure where my Sierra emblems were on my doors and tried to place these in the same spots. I also put on my silicone key fob cover that I got from Amazon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That looks amazing. Thats how they should all come from the factory.
  11. Don't be afraid to rent two sets of spring compressors (4 total). Just research the process and respect all that stored energy. An impact drill speeds up the process greatly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have some rigid pod lights that I think I will eventually put behind my grille. I replaced the silver bolts on the face of the lights with black anodized aluminum screws. Before: After: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks Mike! It was a 67 C20 with a 68 bed. You have a good eye. I never really got the story of why it had a 68 bed but figured it might have had a flat bed on it at some point. I miss the truck too but I like having a truck that I can put my kids in and that can go highway speeds. Looks like your 67 was a short step side? I would love to find some paint matched bodyside molding but I think I will end up just removing them for now. I'm on the lookout for some good black steps.
  14. I randomly saw in a forum post that a guy in Okc wanted to trade his black window trim and door handles for chrome. He came to my house and we had it all swapped out in about a hour. Went smoothly due to some good videos on youtube. Before: After: I love the new look. I would have preferred painted door handles but the black ones look good on the iridium trucks. Now to find mirror caps and get some black steps. I also started debadging the doors and z71 emblems. Heat gun and fishing line Rubber eraser wheel on a drill and adhesive remover: The z71 emblems left some scratches that I had to remove with rubbing compound. Next is to install my new z71 emblems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. First mod was to debadge the Sierra and SLT from the tailgate. I also got a red Oklahoma tag. Before: After: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
