pasty replied to Stevens03's topic in 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 Silverado & Sierra Issues, Troubleshooting, & Recalls/Service BulletinsI don't believe I have the same issues as you but I have noticed 2 things. First, if the pavement has small ripples in it, I feel those at low speeds more than my other cars. Second, if a Harley is in the next lane at slow speeds or at a light, I feel the vibrations through the gas pedal. I don't believe these are significant enough to report to the dealer. pasty replied to Hengchang_Tang's topic in 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 Silverado & Sierra Accessories & ModificationsIf you use the onstar app on your phone, how long does it take to start your truck? I never use the app because it takes too long if it works at all. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I'm thinking GPS is not the only source of speed, think of a tunnel but is used to verify the speedometer accuracy. Initial thoughts. Every 100 miles at a speed above 50, it will calculate your speed over a distance of a mile. If certain criteria is not met such as maintaining 50 mph or losing the signal the results are not applied. I verify my speedometer with an app on my $500 phone. I don't understand why I need to keep a mental note of the actual speed of my $50000 truck. Why can't it figure this out for me?
I believe all of these trucks have GPS for OnStar. I don't understand why the trucks can't monitor the GPS and autocorrect the speedometer or an option on the dash computer to do this while you drive down the interstate. This isn't difficult.

pasty replied to 2Speed's topic in 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra 1500Got truck with sunroof because I was worried about the parked summer heat and black all terrain interior. Hasnt been that big of an issue (tinted rear windows?). However, in my Audis, the sliding cover has vent holes along the front edge. I have to crack open the cover a little bit when I do leave it parked with the sunroof tilted for airflow. Little details that count.
pasty replied to jgedde's topic in 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra 1500Dear GM, please add a button labeled sport next to the traction control button on the center console. You will earn mad street cred if we can adjust the sport settings such as AFM and throttle response on the information screen. Sincerely, your customers and magazine reviewers.
pasty replied to XYZ's topic in 1999-2006 & 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra 1500Did this truck sticker as $50k new or did the original buyer pay $50k plus tax title and license? Nobody pays full price for these trucks. Once you include the original factory and dealer discounts in your calculations, the discount buying used is much less. I have always been a buy used kinda guy but the resale value in my area crazy (just my opinion, they have to be selling them, right?) That said, in my area, that would have been a 35k+ truck easily. Sounds like you got a good deal. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
pasty replied to Wcantrell1883's topic in 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 Silverado & Sierra Issues, Troubleshooting, & Recalls/Service BulletinsReplaced my windshield this week. Tried to get it replaced under warranty but they found a tiny rock chip about 1 inch down from the top. When I washed my truck, the windshield cracked about 18 inches. Replacement windshield is PGW solargreen. No lane departure. $350 cash.
