  1. Where was the SS Performance Sedan? Why omit the finest 4 door automobile ever to wear a Chevrolet badge?
  2. I woud like to see a stainless dual exhaust system, either standard equipment or RPO. on all models...
  3. Nothing sounds better than a small block Chevy with 18" glasspacks... jmo
  4. I owned a muffler shop for 17 years and I never heard a V6 or V10 that didn't sound like crap. It must be the uneven number of cylinders on each bank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I am planning on doing this also, but I thought would tap into the cargo light and use its switch. There wuld be only one wire as the ground could be at any point on the bed.
  6. Please don't flame me if this has been covered somewhere else, but I haven't been able to find it. Has anyone attempted to install a salvage yard OnStar late model system into a non Onstar vehicle. (2006 Silverado 1500). I am a retired automotive electronics tech, but Onstar wasn't an issue during my tenure. Is it a feasible undertaking? TIA for any thoughts or suggestions... John
  7. Does anyone have recommendations on brands? I bought a "brand x" from eBay and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Also having a hard time getting them adjusted. The vehicle is a 2006 Silverado Reg Cab.
  8. I am looking for a set of "take off" tires & wheels (OEM) 17" or 18". Prefer 17" wheel from '10 - '12 Sierra (9595857) with 265/65 X 17 Michelin Tirs, but will consider others. No "worn out" tires of damaged wheels. Must look good. Wanted for a project. Please email me pix and price. I will pick up if nearby (Rogers, Arkansas) or will need shipping estimate. Thanks for your interest.... (posted 01/30/12) John Rivers [email protected]
  9. There seems to have been little or no activity on this subject in quite a while, but the problem looms on. I was watching my voltmeter on a recent road trip and noticed it varying from just above 13v to almost 15 v. Is there not some type of voltage stabilizer that could control the voltage fluctuation? I have had problems with many of my LED light conversions and have been told by the vendors that the voltage spikes are the cause of premature failure. If anyone has a solution or suggestion, please PM me or email me at [email protected] . Thanks and happy motoring! John
