  1. Car Troubles

A typical symptom of a CV joint going is a loud clacking noise while turning. I don't think that a vibration alone describes a CV joint problem.
  2. I never had that problem, I am consistently astonished at the fact that the bed remains dry, even during the worst inclement weather, including hurricane/superstorm sandy, the nor'easters we've had and more then a few heavy downpours.
  3. I do not have a problem with flapping. I make sure to pull it tight onto the Velcro when closing it. Granted the cover does respond to wind buffeting, but not enough to bother me.
  4. I've had it for about 2 years now and it's holding up great. I would recommend it. When I got it there was a guy on ebay (I don't remember who, sorry) who was selling them at a nice discount. You might want to try there first. Also, they install easily, it takes about 15-20 minutes, tops. If you get it, I would suggest that you periodically check the bolts that hold the track to the frame for tightness. Also, they recommend periodically treating the cover with a protectant.
  5. I have the putco rails over a spray in bed liner and the rails fit fine and it doesn't in my estimation look wierd.
  6. Dealership ruined my trucks paint

If they wont make good voluntarily, get two estimates from reputable body shops and sue them in small claims court.
  7. That's exactly it. I'll have to look into getting the repair done. Thanks for your insight.
  8. Hey, everyone I have a 2004 Sierra 4WD Z71 package and I have a question about the brakes. Recently the brakes would occasionally pulse when slowing down, like the ABS pump is working. This happens on dry pavement with light to moderate braking pressure. Also, my wife says she hears a high pitched squeal on braking (I dont). I have abouty 37000 miles on the truck, which I've had for about 6 months now. Any ideas?
  9. I have the truxedo lo pro qt on my 2004 gmc sierra extended cab and can highly recommend it. What's nice about this cover is I also have putco bed rails and this cover does not go over the stake holes andit is fairly flush with the bed.
