Wanted to give a shout out to @pgamboa for a great experience, apologies if this is in the wrong place (I don’t post much). Was planning on parting out a console from GMpartsdirect for this swap, and then using Phil’s harness to tie everything together. Had my parts list in the shopping cart and reached out to Phil to order the harness. Turns out Phil now has the ability to have a complete, preassembled console from GM shipped directly to my door w/ his harness for about $300 less than what it would cost to do it all part by part. He offered different console colors, side trim, latch styles, and the option to upgrade to a wireless charging lid. Based on the reviews here, I sent him a PayPal and had everything I needed within a week. Now I have a fully operational console for 3/4 of what I would have paid to piece everything together separately. I would highly recommend Phil’s service to anyone looking to do this mod ?? On an unrelated note, I have a beautiful bench seat sitting in my garage right now...

More specifically, Climate Control System backlighting. The backlighting is burned out for the lower right Air Delivery Mode Control button for my Climate Control System. Does anyone know how to replace the bulb behind this panel?

Who else is ready for the GMC "I Love it" Holiday commercial to go away? I own a 2018 Sierra SLT CC. I originally found the commercial amusing and lmao when my wife mimicked the girl one day in a parking lot but after seeing it run over and over all month, I think it is permanently implanted in my subconsciousness! ??

Planning on leveling my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE with the 3” front 2” rear MOTOFAB leveling kit. Currently have stock wheels/tires on it which are 255/70R17. Thinking about jumping up to 18” wheels instead but wanted to know how much of a difference the 17” to 18” jump would make in appearance. I was able to find plenty of pictures with 18” wheels but are there any photos out there of leveled /lifted trucks with 17” rims?

HELP! I just purchased a very nice 2018 K 1500 Sierra SLT (premium Plus trim). Problem is it had/ has flood damage. So far the only think that does not work is the power seats. Other than that the truck is clean and operational. I purchased the seat frame with all three motors from GMC and am ready to get to it. But... driver's seat is stuck low, full back and full reclined. No way to get to the two T50 hold down bolts in the back. I jumped 12VDC to the seat bottom tilt and height motors. The tilt motor works (it sits above the water line) but the height motor is dead. It sits lower (below water line) and is obviously corroded. I can not get to the fwd-aft motor or plug, but can see it shows signs if corrosion. Any clever thoughts on how to get the seat out? Thanks, Jim

Curious what the average and best gas mileage you've gotten in your 2015-2018 silverado or sierrra 1500 crew cab is? Mine so far is pictured. It is a 2018 Sierra SLT Z71 4WD Crew with the the 5.2 liter V8 8-speed.

I purchased a new 2018 GMC Sierra in February, and I'm in MN where it was freezing up until May, so I didn't get a chance to test the A/C. What I did notice was a hissing sound during normal operation and it bugged me so sometimes when I turned the A/C on and back off, it would sometimes go away. It was strange and I brought it up to the dealer in March or April and they dismissed it as normal... Well when it finally got warm and I wanted the A/C, sure enough it did not work! I took it in and they determined it was never charged, so they charged it and found no leaks. Well it just so happens the guy in the waiting room has a 2018 Sierra also and had the same issue, and says a handful of other people did at this dealership also. I got the 10 year warranty so if it ends up being damaged because there was no freon/lube in it, they will have to replace it within the 10 years at the very least, and it's on file as a repair in my history. So, did anyone else experience this like I (and at least a few others) did?
