My Review: Noxon 7 - Metal Polish

Since my dual-tips are single-walled, the stainless-steel was starting to tarnish. I called a local plating shop to find out how much it would be to get them ceramic coated. They suggested I try Noxon 7 first to see if that got rid of the tarnished look of the tips.

I ordered it from my local Do-It-Best Hardware Store for about $4, but saw it yesterday at Menards too, in the cleaning supplies.

Well, Sunday I spent a few hours rubbing the heck out of the tips, lots of elbow-grease, and they're good as new. thumbup.gif I used an extra polishing rag/towel, the more "rough" the fabric the better. Microfiber cloths won't work well, you need a fabric with a little "bite". Just remember, lots of polish on the rag & rub hard in small areas.

Noxon 7 - "Cleans and polishes copper, brass, aluminum, chrome, stainless, pewter, and bronze."
