Rancho RS9000 Shocks

These shocks are adjustable for firmness and have five settings. After testing every setting you can really tell a difference. The stiff setting is great for offroading and keeps the tires on the ground. They also provide a very smooth ride for the city. The install took about two and a half hours, however most applications would be less. The shock mounts for the front shocks on the silverado are a little screwy. I discovered that it's easier to jack up the front end, take off the tire and approach the mount that way than to go in through the engine bay. However, I would have to say that these Shocks are really a step up from the factory ride. When I do the rancho lift I'm going to run RS900's and set it up w/ the in cab adjuster.

I run Rancho 5000's.  Seems John does more off roading than I, so the 9000's make since for him.  I tow snowmobiles all winter and the 5000's are a good set up for towing at 60MPH+.  I definately prefer these to the Edelbrock IAS shocks I was running prior.  Just an FYI -
