What is the largest tire I can fit in my 2500HD 4x4 with a 2" torsion key lift. I want to keep my stock rims that are 16"

Diablo tune, K&N Intake, replaced mech fan with dual electric fans, Magnaflow dual exhaust, leveling kit with add-a-leaf in rear, 5100 Bilstein shocks, Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels with Toyo Open Country M/T, Rhino lined bed and under carriage, Air Lift 5000.

With T-bars cranked all the way, you just can put a 305 on there.

cranking the stock keys or re-indexed keys?

305 is a squeeze and may rub a little bit with stock keys, but will be just fine with 2inch lift keys

I've got an 04 gmc with a leveling kit in the front and 2" blocks in the rear and I've got 305/70/16 on stock 16" rims and they fit fine. I had to trim a 1" corner of the front bumper but the gmc bumpers hang down alot

i have a 1500HD which is lower than a 2500HD, i cranked stock keys and got airbags in the rear keep them at about 25 PSI lifts the truck about 2 inches. i got 33x12.5's on 18 inch rims with a pretty aggressive offset. little bit of trimming but they are okay. barely rub sometimes, only in reverse cranked the one way, and its minimal.

2007.5 Sierra SLT 2500hd duramax, Leather, Sunroof, 6" Lift, DVD, Crazy Stereo, Industrial Injection S475 compound turbo kit, suncoast Gmax-6 tranny built by Husker Diesel, 1058 suncoast triple disc t/c, M/A transfer case brace, EFI LIVE DSP5 by idaho rob, 35x12.5r20 STT's on BMF Novakanes, Amp Research Steps, 3 JL audio amps, 2 woofers, components and tweets, bullet proof bumper, air dog 150 and all kinds of other goodies im forgetting.  RIP CAINER

I just got a 2010 2500hd cc 4wd if I buy new keys/leveling kit for the front and lift it 2" do you guys think 295/70/17's (33.19"x12.13") or 285/75/17's (33.86"x11.30") will fit on stock rims, they are terra grappler's I used to have an 03 hd with 16" 285's and they would only rub because of the width. Is is better to go a little taller and skinnier or a little shorter and fatter; When it comes to tires that is!!!! Any info will help. Tks

Narrower. You will still have to trim a bit

I have had 305 BFG MT's on my 16" factory wheels for 5 years and 46,000+ miles with no issues. They do rub at full lock on the passenger side anti-sway bar. And you have to zip tie the parking brake.

Check my pics.

All you did was crank the torsion bars up? Or did you use different keys?
