Fuel Light On.

Recommended Posts

Did you happen to look through the owners manual? I know on a previous vehicle that the tank capacity was listed as well as the reserve fuel tank capacity. I think 2-3 gallons is somewhat normal.

The fuel light is an idiot light for idiots who can't read a fuel gauge. There is no set time or distance. Go get gas.

And also read the recent post about running the tank too low. Keep it above 1/4 unless you like changing fuel pumps.

Exactly. Most people don't realize that the fuel in the tank helps keep the pump cool.
