for some basic info, it is a 2007 silverado 143,xxx miles (in sig pic) 4x4 5.3 afm 3.73 gears. basically stock, only has airaid MIT with spectre drop-in filter. left the tailgate on, spare tire, toolbox full of junk, and 200 pounds worth of sterio equip. ran several times, this is the info for the best run.

.9723 reaction time.

i was getting an excellent launch in auto 4x4 mode, and overall i was happy with it for a stock truck loaded down with my bad reaction time. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, i blew the doors off of an f-150 who even went as far as to take the rollbar out of his bed to drop weight :)

next time i go, im dropping the spare, tailgate, system, toolbox at the house. i had a .5 reaction time, but it was on a different pass. if i can break into the 15's, i would feel pretty good. my muffler has a leak so i am getting duals put on, not that they will help, but atleast i will sound better going down the track. :) (3" into 2 1/4 flowmaster 40 series) and if the funds get better, vette servo and a bb tune are in the future!

dropping the spare and tailgate and emptying your toolbox will help a decent amount.. when i went to the track i ran against a nearly stock 7.3 and killed it, that felt pretty good

i have a FM 40, i really like the sound of it

every 100 lbs you shed lowers the quarter mile time 1/10 of a second. something to keep in mind

i have heard that, but did not want to drop all of the weight at the track, and leave all my gear laying in the parking lot. next time i go, i am planning to leave all the weight at the house, minus the spare, which i will drop at the track.

What year/engine did the F-150 have? I got smoked in my 5.3 several times by the newer F150 5L engine. That thing is no joke and is quite impressive.

You have to take into account when you are at a drag strip the kind of tires/driver experience/reaction time of the guy lined up next to you.

Get a custom tune, And watch the time drop!

I cant wait to see what my 8.1 sierra will do after the raylar cam and tune im running now,

The trucks weights 6850 with me in it though....

lose the spare and tailgate.. take right headlight out for more airflow and make sure your cab is empty.. should haul ass
