I just installed the 275/65/18 AT3's on my stock height Sierra. I have the factory 31mm offset AT wheels and they do not rub anywhere under any suspension compression. As for the AT3's, they are everything they are advertised to be. Very quiet and smooth even at 75+ mph. Wet and dry traction so far is excellent. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

With your 2" level you should not rub at all with the 285/65/18 and they should fill the wheel wells out better than the 275. Price difference is the kicker going to the larger/wider tire.

i think im just going to go with the 275 its cheaper and not that much of size to really go 300 more on it unless i see them side by side but most of the tire shops here dont have big tires like that special order only

I don't blame you. The prices on the 285's are rediculous compared to the 275/65's. I bought my AT3's locally for $199 installed. You might want to look into a 275/7018 or 265/70/18, both of which are taller than the 275/65's and should fill the wheel wells out without the price of the 285's.
