Hey everyone; we finally did it. We bought a new :gmc: Sierra. We call it "Project Sierra". The idea is we'll give you a second hand ownership experience. We plan to cover everything from how to remove your a dealership decal to installing a Retrax Rolling Bed Cover. We'll even cover more advanced topics like installing a lift kit and getting your engine tuned. We are meticulously recording fuel economy, warranty problems, and our own personal thoughts about the ownership experience. We'll have more details in the near future. Look for our first How-To article from Project Sierra to land Monday morning. In the meantime, feel free to start asking us questions, requesting information about the truck, or giving us feedback to which products we should thinking about installing and documenting in this dedicated forum section.

Congrats on "Project Sierra" can't wait to see what you have in store for it.

If your looking for an idea already, I think a inside the rail tonneau cover with chrome bed rails would look good.
2010 Silverado LTZ CC 6.2L,Graphite Black,4x4,Z82,Z60,
tri fold tonneau cover, rear fender liners, custom made inner front fender liners
GM bed liner, de-badged, GM mud flaps, 3M Clear paint protection, GM chrome package,
GM 20" 6 spoke CK948 Chrome Wheels, under hood light mod, etc...

As the owner of an 09 Sierra I can't wait to see what you guys do with your truck. This is a great project/idea/addition for this site.

We're going to cover all the 'normal stuff' first. Not going to rule it out though!!

Are you guys going aftermarket or factory wheels? I thinks 20" look best with a 33 or 34" tire, You know its not to much.
Also are you going to keep in naturally aspirated and do internals, Or go with a charger??

The wheels that came with the All-Terrain package are 18". Since we're keeping this daily drive-able, I don't think we'd go up to 20" but aftermarket rims will definitely be something we be covering.
Right now, we're going to stick with engine tuning, exhaust, and the rest of the easy stuff that anyone can tackle with a little work.

Gotcha.. Im sure you guys arent gonna lower it, Not sure how you feel but i was never a fan of big lifts (5-8")
Are you just gonna go mild with the height? 2-3"
