Quadrasteer

mikeyob

Question

I just bought a 2005 1500hd with quadrasteer about a month ago. Reading other forums I was under the impression that ever 15,000 miles I should take that in to get looked at, adjusted, whatever...

Exactly what needs to be done with it? I contacted my local GM dealership and they have only worked on 1 before...should I be concerned with this?

approx how much should this cost...

I have a 03 gmc sierra denali quadrasteer but don't work properly anymore and has turned the rear tires and won't go back to straight anymore. I'm taking it in the dealer but can you just straighten the rear tires and disable the rear steer all together?

My used replacement rack is sticking, so trying to disassemble and repair my original sticking rack. Made a tool to remove spring end, but is stuck. Wish me luck. If anyone has disassembled there rack, any pointers would be appreciated, hope not to loose a limb.
