Nitrous kit on an 8.1...Anyone do it?

Just curious if someone has done it. As solid as the 8.1 is i figured a 75-100 shot wouldnt hurt it but be enough to feel it.
Also would i have to do anything with timing and/or ignition?

Let me see after a few times I guess you should buy a boat because you will have a nice boat anchor.
Seriously talking if you want to do some tweaking I would not suggest nos.

To much heat , should have mercury filled valves to anticipate the heat so they do not weld up.

I think you mean sodium filled valves, and even then, only the exhaust valves get it. Mercury filled was not something that ever hit commercial use.

The LS1's I have done were both 125 h.p. shots and the 5.3 was a 100 h.p. shot.
As long as you are not spraying it to death and hitting the rev limiter while still spraying you are safe
Now go to a tune where it is running on the lean side to begin with then spray the shit out of it and yes heat will be an issue
