New 2014 spy shots

Recommended Posts

Finally some more spy shot of the 2014's. Still not too much to see though. HD chassis looks like it is not going to change any from the current trucks.

Personally these trucks really just look like they are going to be a re-skin with new interiors (hopefully better than the low budget crap plastics we currently have)

Anyway just thought I'd put these links over here for you guys.

boo. i like my suicide doors. that small door in the back is nearly useless for cargo. being able to open my sucide doors up all the way, i can get something quite large into the back seat area.

well it looks like the extended cab is now a 4 door, that in itself is a big improvement.

Yup I have to agree. I don't care much for the way my rear doors open. Would have liked "regular" doors available when I got my 2010....Just might have to trade up for a 2014 if it's got the right look.

Don't know if the truck just looks small ot what but defiantely appears to be smaller than the current body style. GM is already the smallest truck, hope they don't get smaller.

ived owned a quad cab ram (POS btw) but they use the regular doors like those pictured.. They suck for loading anything in and out of the back seats. Great for people, shitty for everything else. All in all I prefer the 180 swinging doors like we have now, but I plan on going crew cab next time anyways..

That article is very disappointing I have been waiting for the model and looking forward to the turbo 6 and 8-speed and these guys are saying that those features might not be available for a while!! THAT BLOWS..

Could those be split headlights? :driving: I'd miss the suicide doors for just throwing things in the backseat, but I'm sure when I have passengers they'd appreciate the full doors.

The headlights appear to be bolt on lights from Auto Zone. There looks to be NOTHING of substance in the grill area at all, actually. Pieced in lights and bumper bar, that's it. I'd be willing to bet that nothing of the grill/lights/bumper will be put on any test mules because 1. it's not really needed for testing of this kind and 2. if they did put it on there, you'd get a really good idea on how its going to look and GM knows full well how many people are hiding in the woods around Milford just dieing to get a shot of this truck and what it will look like before anybody else does.

Suicide extended cab doors are a thing of the past that, you CAN bet on.

someone on another forum i frequent hinted at the mirrors.

i for one would miss the suicide doors. they are great. it would be cool if it came with projector headlights too. HIDs even better.

as for the 8 speed, gm did the same thing with the 6 speed. its getting kind of lame. if the entire truck isnt ready, dont release it and add things piece-meal. wait the 6 extra months.

Using suicide doors in a tight parking lot (most of them as I see it) is a huge pain in the a$$. I'll take the regular doors anyday.

As long as I can get a crew cab with a 6.5' box, I won't be wasting my time with an extended can next time.

I agree with you, but I can't say next time because I don't want to buy another truck anytime soon...
