What did you do with your truck/shop today

You don't want to keep electronics in your vehicle. The change in temperatures and humidity are horrible for them. Especially these cheap Autocals.

No because heaven knows there's no electronics in these trucks. lol

YOU also know, you can change your signature in your cell phone too unless you are paid to advertise for SamSun, then you're good. Is that the one that catches fire?

My old bully dog sat on the a-pillar for 3 years, and my Diablosport inTune i2 has been in my glovebox for almost year with no issues. I don't see anything wrong with it

You also don't have 90 days of 100 degree weather

I've just seen a bunch of iPods, cell phones and tuners get messed up from heat. Usually the cheap LCD's pop and then you have streaks of black. That really doesn't happen anymore on newer devices. But these cheap hand held tuners are just that cheap.

Helped my brother in law put 4 new speakers in his reg cab truck. Might as well do something useful while I'm up here in NJ. I think next we're going to get his tractor thing set up for the 5-10" of snow they're predicted to get over night.

This morning I received a cluster for repair in the mail. This guy said he ordered motors and LEDs on ebay and installed them, put every thing back together and nothing worked. It looks so easy on YouTube so people try, why he didn't stop after ruining the board after the first motor is beyond me. The motors he put in, 2 were bad maybe because he overheated them I don't know but they didn't work. 4 of the 9 background LEDs were backward. He had bridged traces by applying too much solder. What a mess. Anyway got her going but took me 3 hours instead of 45 minutes. Here are a few pictures of before and after, he wanted blue signal arrows for some reason. I aim to please.

my favorite LED light swap was headlamps, and dash. I need to add a resistor for the dimmer part, but it is comparable to my dad's 2016.

well worth it. Gauges last longer, no hot bulbs.

I chipped about 200 pounds of ice today, out of the back. Not sure the photo captures how thick some of it was.

The first 40F in a while, taking advantage. It was 9F just eight hours ago.

banging on the bed brings a gong church bell type sound. I made it tough... making a frozen lake is just a byproduct I need to live with.

This guy came over wanting a FOB programmed for his 2011 Impala until he could get enough cash to get a remote starter installed. I said no problem but before I started the programming I looked at his RPO list and noticed it already had a factory remote start (AP3). So not telling him I programmed 2 FOBs even though he only wanted one. Then pulled the key out while he's sitting on the passenger completely clueless, I locked/unlocked the doors then I locked and remote started the car. You should have seen his eyes, cheapest and fastest remote start install he ever saw lol. He bought both FOBs lol. An other happy customer.

How in the world did he not know he had remote start? Had to be great watching his face.

I think he purchased the car at an auction ( Just came with a key ) for his wife and since one of his buddies had the same car with no remote start he assumed his was the same. His comment and this is no lie, '' The wife is going to be so happy that she can warm up the car before getting in it in the morning, I may score tonight '' As for his look it was priceless!!!

Guys, I was wondering I bought my truck used as U probably all know by now so I'm not really sure what's normal. For instants the steering wheel buttons, only one of them is lit at night so I was wondering if this is normal or they should all be lit?Right now only the answer button is lit.
