I used to have a Springfield Armory 1911 GI that I sold and still kick myself for it. So now I'm looking into a Kimber Ultra Carry. Anybody have one or shot one? How well does it conceal?

Ultra Carry shoots just like any Kimber=Awesome! I didn't try to conceal it, but my cousin does and size wise it looks pretty easy to conceal.

Had most of them before I had the wife....Working LE has it's perks when buying guns. When you can get LE discount pistols for $388.00 they tend to be hard to pass up. The only pistols I paid close to full price for were the 1911's.

She also works LE and has a nice collection of her own.

Not sure about favorite 1911. I would have to say so far it's my Kimber CustomII Stainless, beautiful pistol and very, very accurate shooter. They are pricey but worth every penny IMO. There are definately more to come in the future though.

 

I have had my eye on a Kimber Custom II Warrior for a long time, going to pick it up Thursday....Would of had it sooner BUT actually needed permission to spend the $1,400 for the thing. Beautiful pistol though.

Well, I ended up NOT getting the Kimber Custom II Warrior. The guy was not willing to budge fro mthe $1,400 because he had a "civilian" willing to pay full price for it. Guess I will have to buy something else.
