Heads up

 

On December 9th, in preparation for the official unveiling of the 2014 Silverado and Sierra, we will be expanding the K2XX forum section.

 

This forum will be renamed "Future K2XX Models"

 

At the same time, we will be adding new forums dedicated to the 2014 Silverado and Sierra, as well as forum sections for engine and chassis discussion. Which specific new K2-related sections will be added has yet to be determined. In the future, K2XX based Heavy-Duty & Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon forums will also be introduced.

 

We're currently taking suggestions for the best way to organize this new platform specific forum section. Please post any ideas in this thread!.

We will most certainly grow as needed, not just for kicks. However, there is some planning we should consider to prepare us for a few years down the line. I think having some K2 specific forums will be needed.

Are you saying that you want to create separate forums for K2XX components (powertrain/chassis/body/interior) or is it a case of there being many different K2XX vehicle derivatives beyond pickups and SUV's that would have separate forums?

We're just going to have a forum for K2XX pickups, one for SUVs, one for HDs, and maybe a sub-forum for each engine (maybe). Nothing too fancy.

Maybe add sections for the full size pick ups and one for the SUV's and perhaps one for photo sharing.
