Why/what/will you upgrade to the K2XX?

Recommended Posts

Why will, what would make you, or when will you if you will....upgrade to the 2014 trucks?

An world class interior and more powerful AND efficient engine would help sway me. But my next purchase will likely be a C7 or ZL1 in a couple of years when I pay my house off if all goes well.

No idea for sure. I've been happy with this truck but when the time comes to replace it I'll probably give Ford and Ram a glance again too. I'd like a fast/fun car but I need a truck and can't really swing two new vehicle payments so it will have to be something that is an all-arounder. Unless life changes by then I'll probably just aim for the go-fast configuration of a reg. cab/shortbed with the biggest engine and lowest axle gears possible as I have no real need for a back seat- it just becomes another area to put stuff and the new reg. cabs from Ford and Ram have tons of space behind the seats, I assume/hope GM will follow suit.

It would take a lot to make me give up this truck. So far the 2014's look promising, but I know deep down they will never be built as well as the truck I have now. So basically, if I bought a new one, it would have to be an HD. But all the diesels have the urea crap (or piss really). So you can see my dilemma, and the reason I'll probably never have a truck newer than 06. The 3NBS would have to impress me pretty good to change that.

[it's working, people are using 3NBS....I have successfully christened an internet term]

Look at the bright side. Your a few of your favorite drinks away from refilling the tank anytime you want.

ok, I'll buy one if its a Transformer. And with Transformers 4 being made you know GM will have to show off its new vehicle.

No, not a transformers edition, want a REAL transformer. Would help in a traffic jam.

Hahaha, I just need to find someone who will let me test that theory on their truck.

or Windex. Ammonia glass cleaner is like a buck for a half gallon at Wal mart. Wondered about if that would work.... Or that and a mix of something else.

I'm set on getting a car when my truck is paid off. Then its time to start heAvily upgrading the truck and I'll have an Impala with the 3.6 DI v6 as a daily driver

I'm keeping my 2xOBS (lol), 2006. I eventually plan to add to the inventory rather than replace. However I'd rather wait a year or wo for new model bugs to be worked out. The salesman that sold me my truck traded for a 2007 NBS & ran into the freezing fuel sending unit problems. Not good in Alaska winters.
