Okay, so I just saw something online about the 2017 CR-V. Has the 1.5T from the Civic. Look at the specs, they still use the .24 in the he base model.

2.4 has 184HP and 180 TQ, the 1.5T has 190 HP and 179 TQ.

Another fail of the new wave of Turbos? Why even......

And it has that rubber band transmission too. Boooo.

Planned obsolescence. Everything has a lifespan. Just find what you are comfortable with. If I get 3 years out of a drive that sees continuous use I'm happy. If I make it out of the warranty period on some things I am happy.

The one that is failing only has 2 years 155 days 20 hours power on time. My longest power on time is 4 years 79 days 15 hours and counting. My other storage drives are above 3 years POT. Maybe I'll pick up another couple 5TB WD Blacks if they go as cheap as I bought them for earlier this year. Or maybe a couple 5 or 6TB HGST drive. Eventually I'll replace my OS SSD too since that has 2 years 221 days and counting. Not that POT matters with SSDs writes do and that's only at 20.47TB

kygunco.com is having a sale on Sig Sauer M400's with the Romeo4 red dot attached to it, $1010 after credit card fees. Found one on gun broker for cheaper so I bid on it, ends in a few hours. If I don't win it no big deal I'll but it off the other website. Been looking at a plinking AR for a while and for that price you just can't pass it up. The red dot alone is $350, the gun retails average around $1300. Plus it's a Sig so I know it's a solid, reliable rifle

Maybe you could build it cheaper, but that's a slick gun. When you feel a gun with the ALG rail like it has you'll wonder why anyone buys anything else.

I just hope it has a nice clean trigger break like my Daniel Defense does. That's what makes it hard for me, I bought a super nice AR to start with and now I'm looking at cheaper options. Don't get me wrong, Sig is definitely a good gun, my buddy has the 516 and that's what made me get my AR. I do like the handrail that it comes with but I wanna add a vertical grip to it if I can attach a picatanny rail to it

Is it a Giessele trigger? The ALG forend has Mlok so it's very easy to attach rail sections/accessories, on the 90's and 45's.

On my DD? I'm not sure, but I do know they outsource their triggers. I believe a friend of mine may have mentioned that name before but I haven't really checked into it. Now I'm curious

I meant on the Sig. Although it could very well be on the DD.

I just saw there are multiple M400's. A classic and a predator. Which are you looking at?

Finished up work on the Cobalt today. I had to wrap the fuel lines I installed that run close to the muffler with heat resistant wrap. Then I made sure all the tire pressures were good, and I installed new brighter headlight bulbs and adjusted the height of the lights.

Stopped at NAPA on the way home to get a new battery for it as well, and what a setup that is. The battery is in the trunk of all places. The vent for the gasses turned out to be broken as well so now I have to try and fix that. Pretty stupid setup in my opinion.

It's the M400 Enhanced (decked out in Magpul furniture) with the optional Romeo 4B red dot

I did some reading on it. IMO you'd be better off building as far as price is concerned. I think $1000 for a standard carbine with a 5 pound trigger is a bit much. But getting the sight thrown in is definitely a big plus.

I've wanted to build one since I got my DD but I'm always scared I'll get parts that won't fit "just right" and will look like hell. Plus there are so many manufacturers out there between uppers, lowers, triggers, etc I don't know where to start lol

Well... went ahead and "pulled the trigger" on the Sig M400. Besides building my own AR this thing is a heck of a deal- it would technically be about $630 if you factored out the optic. Gonna keep this one pretty basic as well, probably the m-lok vertical grip is about it. If I don't like the trigger then I'll swap that as well. This is gonna be my plinking AR, my DD has the heavier barrel and that's my "distance" AR. And then if I really wanna stretch out I have my 6.5 Creedmoor [emoji16]

All in all its been a very expensive year for me as far as guns go. Bought a Glock 43, home defense Mossberg 590, Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, Savage Axis .308, and to wrap it all up a Sig M400. I need to take a break next year [emoji57]

Here's the Sig I bought

I had the funniest thing happen to me tonight at the Petro-Can. This couple in a lifted white Ford F250 stopped beside me passenger side window rolled down and the the driver screamed from the driver's side '' Thank You for all the gifts'' at first I was kind off baffled then I realized.......after taking a selfie what the whole joke was about. l0l Just missing the red hat......
