I work for somewhere that deals directly with businesses. I have to go there, and obviously park. I was getting checked for driving safety. The person said that I needlessly backed up to the business, and also that I parked too far away(to avoid backing up).

I'm watching some show called House hunters my wife is watching. It seems it's a window to a different universe, there is a house that costs $400k more than mine but there is no friggin way I would EVER even trade for it. Sure it has 3 more bedrooms, but I'm not sure an adult could even stretch out in half of them. And, it NEEDS a major remodeling to look decent. It's near a big city. That's about all it has going for it (and I would consider I'm that a - ).

Does being a car guy and having spent countless hours working on them and buying parts count as experience for parts or service advising? I'd think so, I've known more than nearly every service advisor I have ever spoken with, most are just pulling stuff from a recommendation list or a dark, stinky place. Just browsing job ads again and thinking.

Good luck, Daryl. I've been trying to get a position at HD or Lowe's and had been offered a position at one HD pending drug screening and background check. Yet they never called me back and didn't return my follow up call. Screw them. I've never touched drugs, and my background is clean.
