The Michelin one is in BAR. That's great

Yep, wouldn't do much good for it to be in psi in Italy back then. Neighbor said both were probably made to use primarily with motorcycles. So much old random stuff in this house.

That's a S10 Blazer trait! Ball joints & tie rod ends yearly, along with brakes. Steering box is probably all worn out too, along with the pitman and idler arms. Do it all if you want decent steering.

I parted out a '00 Jimmy, and threw the engine (sans electronics) into my '89 S10 Blazer. The weekly check engine lights and electrical problems suddenly went away.

I actually still have that Jimmy ...

Back from the trip, luckily the doc has waterproof stuff in stock, but I bought supplies for replacing it just in case and took it with us. Didn't need it, but he has never had a problem with heights and started freaking out just going up stairs, so that was fun to get him over(went on a ski lift type ride). Oddly, the one that is scared of heights did pretty good on it.

You will be better served posting that in the section of the forum your truck matches. This is the off topic "chit-chat" section.

Just FYI, I don't know of any fan that uses resistors, except for the HVAC blower motor ...

One on the left looks like a "trucker bomb". :D

Amazing how crappy fluid gets with age. Few people keep up with these things. It's a good practice if you want your brakes to be failure-free for years and years.

I normally do all my vehicles religiously, but somehow my Grand Marquis got missed for 11 years on the fluid change. When the wife came home saying she smelled brakes, and I saw the smoke pouring from the driver's side front, I discovered it was time to flush! No idea how old the fluid actually was - at the time we had owned it 11 years. Could've been the OEM FoMoCo fluid!!

Fluid was BLACK. Flushed all that crap out, pushed the piston back and forth several times, and it's been fine for 3 years now. OEM original, 31 year old brake calipers too.

Well, one of my 4 year olds isn't doing so well, went to an appointment today and was told that he is going to need a procedure early thursday, bone moved too far the wrong way(this was from the accident at day care). They hope they don't have to do a real surgery(basically rebrake and set it), but are planning it anyway. So at the very least he is going under anesthesia and at most will wake up with pins in his arm. Yeah, 4 year olds don't care for that idea. We figured we need to prepare with for what he might wake up to rather than deal with a panic or melt down after he has had surgery. and we will likely have to pay for two surgery bills(simply putting a cast on now counts as surgery in this day and age).
