new '14 pics summit white

Recommended Posts

Here are some pics of my new 2014 Sierra, its an SLT w/ preferred package, navi/bose, I added 6" chrome side steps, GMC tri-fold tonneau, GMC mudguards, spray in liner, and got the weathertech door visors and digital fit floormats. I also have 20% tint up front.

I have a flowmaster catback on the way, and I also plan on adding a CAI when they start hitting the market along w/a a tune.

Other mods I plan on for the future: throwing away the crappy goodyear fuel max tires it came w/ and running snows on the stock 18"s, then getting some 20"s and bilstein leveling shocks/struts. Probably a year and half out on that I guess.

It is hard, there are 3 divided poly-pro plates dividing the cover. Especially nice if you lock it down tight & lock the tail gate it is much more difficult to gain access to the bed vs. the multi folding cover that has only vinyl laying on the cross bars- you can simply slice through that w/ a knife.

nice truck!

Can't go wrong with white!

Kudos on the 6'6" bed, looks much better than the 5'8"

How is it around town and parking? 20' of truck!

Nice looking truck! I didn't realize Weathertech's visors were available yet. How do they fit? I had them on my last truck, and the only thing I didn't like is they squeaked a lot when the window was halfway open.

Floor mats fit great except for a small part behind the drivers seat but I'm short 5'8 and sit closer than most lol

Do they secure to the floor somehow or do they just lay there? (Ive never owned a set)

If they just lay there, do they move around at all?

The driver's side secures to the factory pegs. The rest just lay in there, but they're molding perfectly to the inside of the truck, no way for them to move.

Nice truck.

Looks like the driver side lower bolster is already taking a beating.

Nah I think that's just how the lighting worked out. I'm only 160 so shouldn't be wearing it out too much lol!!

Having a 20' truck did take some getting used to, but mostly only when it comes to parking and low speed maneuvering- it drives/handles a lot smaller than it is
