2006 Chevy Tahoe OEM 7-pin Problem

Hello members, new poster,

I’d appreciate feedback on n OEM 7-pin electrical problem I’ve been chasing.

If the running lights are on and left or right blinker is on, the running lights and blinker alternate flashing. Originally I though I had a problem with my trailer or 7-pin to 4-pin adapter so I created light jig/pigtail appropriately wired directly to the OEM connector. I double, triple checked for correct wiring on my jig, OEM labels, swapped relay module etc. I’m convinced it is a problem with the car. Any ideas on how or where to start isolation?

Change out the 7 pin trailer pin connector on the truck itself. 20 bucks at any auto parts place and it will probably solve all problems. It could be corroding badly on the backside where the harness connects so even if the pins you see are clean the back isn't.

Honestly....... the connector is less than 20 bucks and his is doing exactly what mine was. It could be a bad ground.... but its likely in the back of the connector not on the chassis of the truck. Super common problem here lol.
