Post Pics of Your 2014+

Silverado Double Cab 4x4, All-star Edition w/ Bose stereo, heated bucket seats, and machined 18in aluminum wheels....with crappy Goodyear fuelmax tires. This was taken before we had almost 2 feet of snow up in Fairbanks, AK. I cant wait to put a Rough Country lift and bigger tires. I want to stay with the stock rims (budget reasons and they don't look too shabby imho) and I have the 3.08 rearend. What all would I have to do to correct the speedo? Take it back to the stealership? Oh by the way, I walked away with the 7 year/ 100k mile warranty for almost nothing and free, full-synthetic oil changes at any Lithia Chevy dealership for the life of the vehicle. BAM! Plus i got $3500 cash back and a $5000 trade-in on my '04 Envoy XL. She's gonna be purty.....

Katzkin leather seats

Hello Friend,

Love your ride. I'd like to get one just like it, but in Iridium. Either way, I was trying to figure out how you picked up the 'full featured' leather seats for your SLE, when I couldn't select it during the ordering process. I then Googled Katskin and was amazed to see that such a product even existed! So, thanks! I have to ask though, what is the quality like?

Thanks!

And congrats again on the nice ride!

Oh, before I forget... How did you get this for the 2014? On the Katskin website, I only see options for the 2013?

I got mine last week! 22" factory option wheels, tint, and clear bra so far…….plan to drop the rear if anyone can give me the best option. 2 inch rear? If so, best brand etc?

Those wheels are pretty close in the amount of win as the all chrome SEY 22's. I would go with that color and wheel combo also.

You mean these?

Finally got wheels and tires and 2" Rough Country leveling kit. I love that the rear is still 1" higher than the front.

I was hoping the red wheel inserts would match the GMC logos (and IP / center stack lighting) better. Maybe I will have the inserts repainted to a darker red metallic.

Also still waiting for the front license plate filler which should be here tomorrow. (And which GM should have automatically included with my truck for Arizona!)

2014 Silverado LT Z71 with the all star package... All stock as of now, but looking to add factory towing mirrors, spray-in bed liner, leveling kit, front window tint, exhaust.

I was curious about whether or not that leveling kit effects your ride quality by much and any other factors that play into getting it put on? Also, what size wheels are you running? (backspacing, rim-width, tire size)? For some reason, I feel the truck sits lower than I would like so I'm looking to get a leveling kit (2") and put larger tires on it.

I've noticed that the rearview camera quality is pretty poor, in the morning I can't see anything because of the low light / dew and during the day I have to take a second glance at it when backing up just to see what's on the screen. Unless someone finds a fix I'll be just using it to hook up the trailer I suppose.

After driving my fathers new Sierra, I had to trade in my 2012 lifted chevy Z71 on a new 2014 Sierra. So far I really like the truck. I actually went to buy black and after looking at the Iridium changed my mind. I immediately took the truck down to have the 2" level kit installed and then the stock 18's looked tiny, so I found a new set of 275/70/18 BFG A/T KO's - 10 ply that I had installed. Loved the look but my mileage suffered horribly, so after another 1500 miles I traded even for a set of 2013 Sierra 20's with 275/55/20's and my wife even said the tires still looked to small. Took it down to Discount Tire and had 275/60/20 Cooper HT's on and so far the mileage is still great and the look is more acceptable. I also was able to re use my OEM nerf bars off of my 2012 as well, had all the windows tinted as well as limo on the back sliding glass.
