Recommended Posts

yup, i have them wired it as DRL.. They're only on when the key is on position and dim when they parking light is on to reduce the brightness

Man, there has to be a flush way to mount these....

Thinking about mounting mine in the bumper steps, but haven't got around to seeing if there's anything actually behind them.

See my rough photo edit below for what I mean (and the look of square v/s round lights)

Test fit and then installed my Dually LED lights.

I originally thought they'd hang down too far but you can barely see them from the side.

Didn't wire them up yet b/c the place online I where I ordered my specality rocker switches sent me the wrong ones.

I have a question, doesn't the trailer wiring offer a reverse source to power the lights. I know most boat trailers anymore will not roll backwards without this wire or has that changed since my trailer was built?

I am 99% sure there is reverse feed. Will be center pin on the 7 round.

Did you wire them same way i did?

No, I wanted to control them via dash switch so lights are on their own relay & wiring harness.

Yes, if you use LEDs, it's completely feasible to wire them only to trailer wiring because the amp draw is so small.
