2014 Sierra Daytime Running Light Issue

I have a 2014 Sierra AT with the LED daytime running lights and I have an issue with the drivers side bottom set of LED lights. They seem to be dimmer than the passenger side bottom set of LED lights. I know there are two different settings (bright and dim) on these lights depending on if the DRLs are on (bright setting) or if the headlights/parking lights are on (dim setting). The drivers side seems dimmer on both settings. I have talked to my dealer about this issue and they are chalking it up to the fact that the drivers side light is angled differently than the passenger side, but I feel like the drivers side is dimmer from all angles. I have also checked to make sure that both lights are switching from the bright setting to the dim setting when turning the lights on, and they are.

Anyone else having this issue? I tried to take some pictures below, but it is kind of hard to tell from them.

it's kinda hard to tell since you have the Sunlight reflection in the pictures

I tried to take some pictures below, but it is kind of hard to tell from them.

You can kind of see it, but hard to tell b/c of the daylight.

After dark, place a lit flashlight on top of the little light sensor in the center of dash, then start the truck. Now when you shift into drive, only the bottom LEDs will power on, and you can better judge the output (and prob take better pics).
