I have been eyeing these since December when I replaced my 15 with a 16. Everyone that rides with me complains that it is too hard to get into the truck with the level. I have been trying to find a cheap solution to stop the constant bickering I get! How does the overall fit and finish of these steps appear? I also wondered about the actual step as it seems it is just a thin piece of bent sheet metal...

Yup for the same reason; I got these. People complained on the height plus I would notice they would slide off and I know that was not good for the leather seats. They fit great and were easy to install. The set comes with bolts and brackets to attache to factory holes. I love the glossy look and just need to wash my truck now to even out the look...lol On the actual step the sheet metal has passed the weight test and I haven't noticed any negatives on them so far. My brother is about 260 lbs and the steps did just fine as he tested them in and out of the truck numerous times.

Gave her a bath yesterday and polished the pipes a little today. Need to invest in a buffing wheel to really make them pop!

Scored a brand new oem grille for my 15 with a painted surround, somehow for $260 and free shipping. Time to wait it out, it's coming from Hawaii lol.

Which exhaust is that? I prefer the dual side exit as well . Flowmaster? Nevr-dull is another great one for chrome.

It's a Borla Touring split rear. I used steel wool 0000 on the tips to clean them.

Thanks for the hints everyone to keep it shining.

Did this after work today. Added the dual USB plug on the left, tapped into the factory plug on the right. Panel popped off with a gentle but firm pull. Took all of 20 minutes. Don't know why it didn't come like this from the factory...98ed154aee2210df943e04f8bb317301.jpg61a3db1877dc3a7af3f66ef06f335a5f.jpg

You must have the non-GM rear floor liner. Lol. I'm getting more and more turned off by the GM liners I have. Like the dual USB add-on. Also like that it's 2amp output. Where did you source it from?

Nice! Did you install the mud guards yourself? I am looking to add some and torn between Weathertech, Husky, and color matched GM ones.
